Laura Ishak

Laura brings over 25 years of experience in clinical operations and a proven track record in global clinical trial execution to Atea.

Prior to Atea, Laura most recently served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Blaze Bioscience. Before that, she held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in clinical trial management and collaboration leadership at Bristol Myers Squibb and ZymoGenetics (acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb). Earlier experience included clinical research management roles at NeoRx and Bard Diagnostic Sciences.

Laura has worked on more than 35 clinical trials, which led to several successful New Drug Applications, marketing approvals, and scientific publications.

Laura holds a BS degree in Microbiology from the University of Washington. She is Board Certified in Clinical and Public Health Microbiology by the American Society of Microbiology.
